There are many questions we frequently get asked about our recycled bricks or services, here are the most common ones.
How many bricks do I need?
It depends on what you plan to use the recycled bricks for, here are some examples:
• Building a wall or fence, roughly 48 bricks per square metre
• Building a garden path or patio area, roughly 40 bricks per square metre
How many bricks are on a pallet?
As standard there are 500 recycled bricks on a pallet, with the exception been speciality bricks.
Are the recycled bricks cleaned and ready to be used?
Yes, all our recycled bricks have been cleaned to a high standard by our specialist brick cleaners, then packed on to pallets with 500 bricks
What condition are the Recycled Bricks in?
Most recycled bricks could have some mortar or paint flecks on them, but this adds to the character and makes them unique.We also try to make sure each pallet of bricks contains full bricks that are ready for use.
Can we see the bricks before purchasing?
Yes, you are welcome to come to our yard which is open 8am to 3pm weekdays, but please call us first on 0467 234 018
Can we pick them up?
Yes, you are welcome to come pick them up from our yard but take in to account that each brick on average weighs 4kg, with a pallet of 500 bricks weighing around 2 to 2.5 tonnes.The weight of a pallet exceeds the capabilities of most trailers or utes.
Is delivery included when I purchase bricks?
No, delivery/transport is not included and it will be calculated as a separate cost, which is calculated on the quantity required and where they are delivered to.

How do we pay for the recycled bricks?
The full payment is required before the recycled bricks can be picked up.You can pay by cash, direct debit or credit card.
What can I use Recycled Red Bricks for?
The most common uses are:
• Building (structural walls, retaining walls)
• Paving
• Landscaping or Garden edging
• BBQ's
• Pizza Ovens
• Feature Walls
What recycled bricks do you recommend for a driveway?
We would recommend using A Grade or Paving Grade recycled bricks.
How do we classify our ``A Grade`` Recycled Bricks?
An ``A Grade`` recycled brick is generally used for paving and will have four good corners from a ``top' face.
When paving you are placing the brick face down on the ground.
This is called a bricks ``top face``.
Think of a paved driveway and looking down at the brick on the footpath on the brick when looking at the brick 'side on'.
How do we classify our ``B Grade`` Recycled Bricks?
A ``B Grade`` bricks are used to build retaining walls, garden edging, bbq’s etc.
You will have 4 good corners from a ``side face``.
When building you are placing the bricks on top of each other seeing the bricks ``side face', this is called the bricks “side face”.
